Dress as you wish ❤️

Mum adored nature and wildlife, watching birds gave her so much joy. Instead of flowers we'd love you to donate to The Tree Council via the donations tab. We love the idea of trees and hedges being planted as her legacy.

If you wish to donate but can't do it on line then Donations for The Tree Council can also be sent to Susan Whymark Funeral Service Ltd, Chestnut House, 12 Progress Way, Eye, IP23 7HU

We received a beautiful letter from the Tree Council thanking you all for the donations. We are so happy that we have been able to support their excellent work for the planet and for communities. Mum would have been delighted too. Thank you ❤️

I shall sorely miss Jan. She was so generous bringing me into the family nearly 30 years ago after I met Dick and soon she became a close friend, sharing many interests. I have many happy memories of holidays, family get togethers, and chats over tea or something stronger. I will think of her often, especially in wild places. She will always be with us in spirit.

Dick Hicks donated £100 in memory of Jan

I always recall the times I had with Jan, building our catamaran, houses we lived in and moving to Palgrave. Although we separated a long time ago, we remained friends and enjoyed holidays and outings together with our children and grandchildren. She will be missed but fondly remembered.

Dear Jan - you are missed so much. Doing the ordinary things in life, walking, sharing plants, cups of tea, and the not- so-ordinary - holidays and walking the Camino. Rest in peace my good friend. xX

To my lovely Nan, I'm going to miss you so much, and can't quite believe you have gone. I'm so lucky to have so many happy, funny memories with you, and am so grateful for what you have taught me. Will forever smile thinking about when you got banned from twitter, as well as lots of your silly jokes!! ❤️❤️
