We are deeply saddened to hear of Mary's passing. Our sincere condolences go to Janet, Mark, David and all the family. She was a very kind and loving person who we will hold dear in our memories, particularly memories of her warmth and hospitality when we visited England and of her caring for Gladys and Shannon. We have donated and will light a candle in memory of her tomorrow. With much love.

I have known Mary for many years - she was my bridesmaid in 1956! She was a very lovely, kind and thoughtful person and I miss her tremendously. Myself and my family send our love and thoughts to you all! ❤️

I have so many wonderful memories of Mary, or as I will always call her auntie Mary. She was a very dear neighbour who was a large part of my life growing up as a child playing with Mark, David and Janet. She always treated me like one of her own and I wiil fondly remember her delicious rock buns, cheese straws and other wonderful treats.
Res in Peace auntie Mary you will be forever in our thoughts. ❤️

It has been lovely looking at the photos posted of Mary and being reminded of her continuing loyal friendship expressed in her letters to us at Christmas and Easter, long after I left St Matthew's, Wigmore in 2009 for the Gulf and ministry in Bahrain.
She had a great love for her family and she will continue to be remembered with fondness by all who knew her.
Sadly we are unable to attend the funeral as we will be en route to Adelaide Australia on 29th November, but that will be a prompt to remember you all as a family as you gather to commend her to God's love and give thanks for all she has been.
As Tagore wrote:
'Death is not the extinguishing of the Light,
but the turning down of the lamp, because the Dawn has come.'
May she rest in peace and rise in glory!

With many happy memories from school days and ever since, and of course how delighted I was to be your bridesmaid. A friendship that will be greatly missed.
