Peacefully on October 17th aged 83 years, Harry. The devoted husband of the late Jessie, much-loved dad of James, Neil and father-in-law of Helen and Denise, dearly loved grandad of Lloyd and James, dear brother of George, the late Ted and Jack. A cherished uncle, brother-in-law and good friend of many. Family and friends please meet on Friday November 4th for service in Independent Methodist Church, Easington Lane at 11:00am, committal to follow in Durham Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to Hetton Lyons Cricket Club for refreshments. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for the work of Parkinsons UK. Neil and James were my best friends in the 80s I stayed at their house lots of times and their mum and dad were lovely people, my heart goes out to all the family. I just learned of this sad news from doing a search of Neil and James on Google after all these years. They were a truly wonderful family.
