Devastated to be writing this but our beloved mother has sadly passed away on Tuesday 11/10/22, after a brave fight with dementia. Jill has been at home with us for the last 4 years but sadly after a short nursing home stay she has passed away, it was a great comfort that we were able to spend so much time with her and she was able to have her family around her.
Jill Hogg was the best mum to Miranda and I and a doting Grandmother to Brad Hogg, Olivia and Isabella. Also sister to Kitty, Jennifer and Jan. She was a force to be reckoned with! Strong independent and family orientated always put us first and would do anything for anyone, everyone who knew her, loved her. She touched many lives. She loved horses and dogs and had a varied life doing the pony rides on Portobello beach, dog breeding/showing, a publican and a dog groomer amongst other things!
A special mention to her great friends George Moir Graham Crombie and Douglas McLean for their long lasting loyalty and support!
We are lost without her, but we were blessed to have had such a wonderful, funny, sarcastic woman as our mother!
Funeral on Friday the 21st Oct at Seafield Crematorium at 4pm to which family and friends are welcome.

Sorry to learn about your mums passing a great woman who I knew many years ago at the drum shows etc when you were all just children great times great memories Rip Jill xx
