In loving memory of Mike Dixon who sadly passed away peacefully at home on 6th October. Mike was a beloved husband to Sylvia; cherished Father to Hilary & Pam; much admired Father-in-Law to Phil & Rich and doting Grandpa to Grace, Austen & Lauren.

We hope that family and friends will be able to join us at Barnby Moor Crematorium, in a service to celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, please make any donations to the RNLI or the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, charities which were close to his heart.

Sylvia, Hilary & Pam

Michael was my cousin. My brother Tim and I lost touch with our Newark cousins through no real fault of our own, but I remember him coming to stay in Worcester a couple of times. He had a powerful motorcycle and taught me to ride pillion! He smuggled me comic books to read in secret. I hope he had a full and happy life and the few times I met him he struck me as a lovely, friendly person. Please accept my condolences and regrets for lost opportunities in keeping in touch with family.

We stood together on many a cold river bank as our children rowed by, then shared grandchildren and the pleasure they bring. So many lovely memories, somehow you always made me feel safe. I will miss you so very much. All my love to the family you leave behind.

Sylvia, Hilary, Pam & Families,

There just are no words to describe our feelings at losing the best neighbour EVER. He came to our rescue many many times. Such a lovely, kind, generous and warm hearted man with a wicked sense of humour. We will hold dear the many happy memories he was a big part of. He certainly will NOT be forgotten that's for sure.

Sending our love to you all xxx
