In loving memory of Pauline Assis who sadly passed away on 9th October 2022 aged 53 years after a long battle with cancer. Although the fight with cancer was unwinnable, she was still able to smile and joke with her family right until the end.

Born in Scotland, Pauline and her family moved to Southampton when she was young. After a few years of getting to know the local area, her family decided to emigrate to Johannesburg, South Africa. She met her husband Nelson, and together they had two wonderful boys, Ryan and Michael. Eventually, they made the decision to leave South Africa, ultimately settling on returning to where Pauline spent her childhood, Southampton.

Pauline loved her family more than anything. She spent her days looking after them and the house, making sure their home was neat and tidy and providing a hot meal at the end of the day. Her daily routine also included plenty of down-time to spend time with her dog, Bella. Some days Pauline and Bella would curl up on the sofa to watch their favourite programs like 'Escape to the country'. No matter how the day went, Pauline was only truly happy once all her family was at home together.
