Daddy you fought a good fight and kept your faith how I wish you had not finished your course, I miss you so much and think about you every day, that wonderful smile the twinkle in your eyes and that loving look you always had for mum, and toward the end even without your teeth you still had that gorgeous gummy smile that lifted my heart. Gone but will never ever be forgotten

Grand-dad, you were there for the biggest moments of my life, my wedding, my baptism and the blessing of my first child. You were such a funny and wise man, who always wore a hat and a smile. I will miss you. Rest with the angels.

You loved the climate in Cyprus and said it was like Jamaica. You could not wait to get into the sea it did not take you long to get to the beach. You told Tony he looked like a native when you arrived with Mummy and even wore identical swimwear to Tony as you were keen to blend in. You & Mummy could not get down the beach quick enough we all joined you in the sea. Despite the fun you never took your eyes off Mummy who was paddling because she cannot swim. You were not aware of the attention that you had created so many sunbathers were watching in awe. It was one of the many memories that I will treasure. You were so kind, thoughtful and humorous and really loved life.

In remembrance of the most special Grandad I could ask for! Genuinely caring with a big heart and a great sense of humour. An exemplary 'Christ like' role model, who lived an Godly, upright, loving, encouraging and hardworking life.

2 Timothy 4 v 7-8

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day.

Immensely missed by us all.

Cheryl Clarke.
