In loving memory of Kate Davies who sadly passed away on 15th September 2022. Kate was diagnosed in April with Stage IV bowel cancer. Kate's quality of life was almost immediately impacted and treatments, although the best on offer in many parts of the world, didn't provide the benefit we were all desperate for. We were lucky to have her at home with us for most of the last 5 months of her life, and she was surrounded by family in her final moments.
Kate was an incredible person and is already sorely missed. She had endless love and empathy for her family and those she came into contact with. Kate had a real zest for life, frequently attending art, theatre and cultural events. She wanted nothing more than to support her family in any way she could. She also wanted us to raise funding for charities that can help find a cure for this dreaded disease. We would love for you to support Cancer Research UK in any way you can.
