Our gorgeous Grandad. Visiting Grandma and Grandad as a child was such a treat. The dinners were my favourite! Fish and chips, delicious roasts and the puddings! Strawberries and ice cream, apple pie, rhubarb crumble and all of us squeezing around the table. Precious memories. I loved looking at all their ornaments and fridge magnets. Grandad would take us to the shop with him for sweets and a magazine to keep us busy. The long journeys to visit were always worth it and we were made to feel so welcome. Thank you Grandad and Grandma xxx

Such wonderful memories of my beautiful Grandad. Their garden seemed so big when I was a little girl & the greenhouse with all the tomatoes would fascinate me. The smell of goal in the bag shed & when he used to pull out the fizzy pop from behind the lounge. On my few trips back to England I would always walk with Grandad every morning to collect his paper & we would chatter about our lives - those memories I will treasure forever.
