When I came to stay with you and your family back in the late 70s early 80s I think it's fair to say I was on the slippery slope of life.
I know my Nan asked you many times to take me in to try and get me back on the straight and narrow which thankfully with the rest of your wonderful family you did.
There were times I would speak to you privately at my lowest eb. You listened, you never judged and your advice although sometimes hard to accept was always right.
We had fun times to especially when all the family were home from there travels.
You really were a one off special lady and the world is a much sadder place without you
Sleep well Mrs P

Our sincere condolences to Mary’s family and friends. We always enjoyed spending time with Mary when she came to Canada to visit our best friends Fiona and Jamie. We had the great fortune to attend Mary’s 80th birthday in Scotland and on another trip over, we had lunch with her in Dunoon. Bless you Mary. All our love to Fiona and family. ❤️
