After an illness bravely borne on June 25th aged 56 years, Steve. The beloved husband of Susan. The cherished son of Pat and John and dear step-son of Alex and Myra. The much-loved brother of Alison and brother-in-law of Dave Carol and Shaun. A dear uncle, great-uncle and friend of many. Family and friends please meet for service on Wednesday July 13th in Independent Methodist Church, Hetton-le-Hole at 1:30pm, committal to follow in Sunderland Crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in lieu kindly received for Cancer Research. A donation box will be provided at the church. Steve helped me out years ago when I needed financial advice. For that I am forever grateful.
When he got together with my sister’s partner Brian Hunt there was always fun, laughter and usually beer involved. I was lucky to have been in their company a few times and have happy memories.
My thoughts will be with Sue, her family and Steve’s pals as they go through this sad and difficult time. Love and hugs Val Lundy
