The last thing you’ll have heard me say to you dad, was, ‘there’s not many men like you around’ then I kissed your forehead and you nodded and agreed. My heart ached, knowing you were losing your battle to stay alive. We weren’t ready to say goodbye. I feel so lucky to have had such a wonderful dad, we’ve shared a very special bond & have created so many memories that will stay with me forever. You’ve been a loving grandad to my boys, who you have loved like they were your own sons. You were everything to everyone. A kind and gentle man who adored his family and in return the family adored and cherished you. Our hearts are broken and I will love you for the rest of my life. Ever so much. Always xxxxx
