You will be so missed, a very dear, kind and caring man who we have been privileged to spend many happy occasions with, amongst a close-knit group of friends. The one that comes to mind for us was the very special day you went up in the glider and we shared the rest of the day at Donna and Brian's house. Your legacy will live on in your lovely family - it is clear to see they have your special qualities. Rest in peace Bob.

So many happy memories of time spent together particularly when we were out cycling. You were the leader of the pack of the Woodchurch Wheelers and kept us all going. You leave a wonderful legacy with your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rest in peace lovely man.
With love, Donna, Brian and family xxx

Many happy memories of your company at our many family events. You were a very special 'reserve' to give my daughter Anne away at her wedding. Memories of our cycle rides when we came to stay, the list goes on and on, never will be forgotten.

Chilton Motorcycle Club would like to take this opportunity to remember our friend Bob who has been an influential member from early 1980's,involved in organising runs, training and finally becoming president. When he and Sue moved to Tenterden they invited us all every year. We explored the area, bbq'd, had laughs and drank wine. His legacy at the club will continue.
Cheers and God bless Bob

I only met Bob at New Year celebrations but he struck me as a lovely, kind man who coped with his illness admirably helped by the love and support of those closest to him. No doubt he will be missed by many

We have lost a very dear friend and we are so so sad. Over the years we have holidayed together, welcomed in the New Year and dined in some very special places together. You loved the boating holidays, and when in France when Britain won the Olympic bid, you played Rule Britannia on your harmonica, on deck, with a salute from the British Boaters. What a moment! We will raise a glass to you on each holiday occasion. Farewell, for now dear friend. Sue & Dick XXX
