  • This is how I will always remember aunty, with a warm welcoming smile on her face. I haven’t been able to visit Suffolk as much as I’d have liked over the last 20-30 years but I still have the happy memories of my youth and aunty June always made a visit special. My thoughts are with all the family at this sad time.

From Margaret:
It has been hard writing these lines- there is so much I want to say about June , my dearest and much loved sister-in-law . She was part of my life for nearly 63 years . We would chat regularly by phone after I moved down to Hampshire and I will miss that ‘catch—up’ and her, so much.
She was one in a million - a precious, rare person - gentle, and a quiet light to all she came into contact with .
There was a softness about her and June’s serene and beautiful smile was never far away.
Despite many hardships June was always patient and had time for everyone -I wouldn’t like to hazard a guess as to how many cups of tea sandwiches she gave to every visitor who ‘popped’ in to their home over the years!
An incredible and faithful wife to John for nearly 63 years .
Paul, Suzanne,Richard ,Vicky (Graham & Dawn) - your precious mum and how she loved you
Gemma, Katherine, Charlotte, Fergus, Rihanna, Eleanor, Rose, your grandma, Benjamin your Great Grandma and how she adored you all- she lives on within your hearts for all .
What a legacy she has left, showing you all how to really live and love - A supportive and caring, loving mother-in-law to Karen, Jen, Julian, Jonny...
She will always be tucked away inside your hearts , and mine, alongside so many others , sheltered and shielded are those memories to bring out whenever we need to, never to be taken away - we will embrace them as we do.
She will never be forgotten - the memory of her life, to us all, is eternal.
Margaret...
