Brocklands Woodland Burial
Brocklands Woodland Burial in Settle, Yorkshire is tranquil location for a green funeral.
This family owned natural burial site is part of the Cappleside Estate, which is spread across 70 acres of woodlands and farmlands. Woodland burials have been taking place here since 2000, and the grounds have a rich variety of native trees including yew, oak, hazel, lime, wild cherry crab apple and hawthorn.
Wildflowers growing amongst the green burial plots include primroses, daisies, daffodils, bluebells and snowdrops. These have been allowed to grow naturally, and self-seed to create a beautiful meadow.

Brocklands Woodland Burial is happy to accommodate all kinds of funerals, from private celebrations, graveside ceremonies or religious services, to lively and colourful celebrations of life.
This green burial ground has a converted stone barn with modern facilities, available at no extra charge for the funeral service or wake. There is plenty of parking available on-site. Do make an appointment if you wish to be guided across the premises.
