Dundee Crematorium
About Us
Dundee Crematorium, which was was built in 1936, is situated in four-and-a-half acres of beautiful woodland on the outskirts of the city. Services in the crematorium’s chapel are 45 minutes. Music can be played on the crematorium’s tape and CD or on the chapel’s organ. Friends and family who arrive early can sit in the crematorium’s waiting room before the funeral procession arrives. The Garden of Remembrance at Dundee Crematorium is designed to compliment the woodland that surrounds it. The gardens are open 365 days a year and guided tours for families planning a memorial are available. The crematorium’s Office, Memorial Office and Book of Remembrance are open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. The Book of Remembrance room is also open 10am-4pm Saturday and Sunday and 10am-12pm on Bank Holidays.Nearby funeral directors
