We were very pleased with the      way the whole service went.  The celebrant was excellent, and all the help we had with arrangements at the Writtle branch was good.  It as a shame the wrong undertakers from a different part of the coop came to collect the body as the number we needed to ring was not clear on the paperwork.

I cannot recommend Co-op funeral services and particularly the Writtle staff (Kari Bennett) enough. The arrangments for my Mums funeral were smoothly managed and the personal skills of Kari in kindly, but efficiently dealing with my bereaved family were highly appreciated. Thank you

All was well organised.  they responded to calls and emails promptly and we were kept informed.  you must check things they send to you as the original location for departure was incorrect but was soon sorted out.  without this issue, it would be 5*

I really praise your Company too highly. From my first encounter with Cara, who was so professional and friendly. Obviously this is a stressful and emotional time and it’s such a relief to have someone like Cara to just organise everything with no pressure selling or pushy attitude. On the day, Jodie and her team did a wonderful job of organising everything. Thank you so much for everything.

Please can I send heartfelt thanks to the staff who attended Mum's funeral for dealing with the situation with patience and sensitivity. Jane in the Broomfield road office is a lovely lady she found us a lovely vicar and every thing she did was carried out as she told us. The funeral staff were also very good .I must thank them for a difficult day for us being well organised and going very smoothly well done to everyone

CoOp Funeral Directors in Writtle provide a compassionate and caring service for your Funeral needs.
After the sudden and tragic loss of our daughter Gemma, which was complicated by Coroner's involvement, I contacted Cara by telephone for her help.
Cara immediately, and with great care, new exactly what to do, and was a very reassuring guide through initial Coroners stage.
Family later attended her office and again, Cara very gently talked through the process and discussed our needs and wishes.
She was a continued presence and support during all the arrangements to be made.
On the day, the Funeral Director, Mark was a dignified and respectful guide from start to finish on the day.
Cars and staff were immaculately turned out and could not possibly have done more for us.
Sadly, this is the third time I have used CoOp in Writtle.
Cara handled my Fathers Funeral 2 years ago as Covid was arriving in the UK.
After her care and kindness shown at all stages, I would not consider going anywhere else when we recently lost our daughter Gemma.
Of course we did not 'shop around' in terms of the costs, but I believe they are competitive for the excellent levels of service provided now on a number of occasions for our family.
So, a huge 'Thank You' to Cara, Mark and other staff at CoOp office in Writtle.
