The whole process was made simple by the excellent team.  Having never been put at the forefront of arranging a funeral, initially I was daunted by the prospect, but Mandy helped us in the planning, visiting us at home, making the arrangements for the crematorium and service.  Every time I contacted her, I received a quick reply and always received a personal and friendly service.  We never felt rushed or pressured to do anything.  Mandy is easy to talk to and sympathetic and understanding to our needs.

I would Highly recommend Susan Whymark Funeral Services, especially in these strange times of social distancing.

Mandy at Susan Whymarks  was incredibly helpful and understanding. We arranged a very simple,  very small cremation service for Dad. Mandy was supportive, understanding and very kind. All the staff at Susan Whymark were very professional, efficient and understanding. They took care of everything and nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated their advice which meant that we could carry out most of our mother's wishes despite the Covid 19 restrictions. Even with the restrictions we felt everything was carried out with great respect and dignity and our mother's funeral service was a very personal and comforting experience for us all. Susan and her team could not have done a better job. My father died during the COVID-19 lockdown, which did not makes things easy, but they were caring, understanding, practical and flexible about all the arrangements. Although Mum's funeral was held during very strange times and was a small gathering she had the funeral fit for the very special lady that she was. Nothing was too much trouble and as a family we felt we were very well looked after, everything was done the same as if there had been hundreds of mourners as opposed to just 8. We have used Susan Whymark before and would do so again without hesitation.

We needed the services of Susan Whymark following the death of my father in May. I was worried about how this could be arranged as I live a long way from Norfolk and other family members were unable to travel or meet during the coronavirus lockdown. With the support of Mandy, we decided the safest option would be an unattended cremation.

Initially I felt quite distraught at the prospect of my beloved Dad going to the crematorium unaccompanied by any of his family, until my sister reminded me that Susan would be going with him and she was sure he would have been happy with that.

Susan Whymark directed funeral services for my mother and sister in 2010 and 2017, and I felt completely confident that my Dad’s last journey would be handled with the same level of dignity and respect, combined with the kindness and good humour we had experienced in the past.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services.

My experience throughout the planning of mums funeral six years ago right up till the day of the funeral was absolutely lovely,with all my concerns always answered and reassuring comfort just to speak with over the phone,Susan has such a loving manner with ever bit of thought for you and how you are,and this obviously goes all the way through her staff as they are all lovely and caring to,I thankyou for your service during what was a very difficult time for all.
