Ian and Danesha provided kind and efficient support when our mother passed away and were not daunted at the idea of her funeral taking place 250 miles away in the town where she was born. Everything went well in spite of the distance involved and dealing with an unfamiliar location, church, cemetery and local council. Mum had the funeral she wanted and we are grateful for that.

The family and I received a good and caring service throughout a very difficult time. All was done with sympathy, sensitivity and understanding from the very beginning with the first meeting for discussion of our expectations. Nothing was left to chance and everything ran smoothly as arranged by the funereal director. This included finding and coordinating with everyone to fix a date for the funeral – collection of the deceased, availability of church and minister, burial and cemetery permissions, grave preparation, obituary notice, order of service preparation and printing, coffin details, and finally placement of flowers, arrival of the hearse, provision of pallbearers and the internment.

He took time to get to know about John from his family and to acknowledge his many achievements during his life making the service truly a dignified end and a fitting tribute.

When I rang Ian answered and was immediately helpful and kind, so I had no hesitation in choosing him to direct my husband's funeral. He knew everything and made it easy for me and my daughters to make a slideshow of photographs with the accompanying music. He was always efficient and thoughtful and enabled us to organise flowers, the wake afterwards, Orders of Service, people to take names at the service, etc. He was dignified and spoke beautifully at the service, and his assistants were equally good. I would recommend him to anyone in my situation.

Ian and his wife Denesha, were so warm, friendly, helpful and professional when we dropped off on them at their funeral parlour our father's death certificate details and made arrangements for Dad's cremation.

Ian George (Funerals) provided excellent service with regard to my late husbands funeral. The dealings I had with with Ian George and his wife Denesha were very straighforward,they both gave as smooth a passage as possible around the many funeral arrangements that are needed. Communication was good.
It was useful to get guidelines around funeral 'accessories', eg flowers, they provided a good recommendation for the wake too.
Moreover, Ian put me in touch with an excellent celebrant, Marie Pembridge. Most of my late husbands funeral attendees commended her on her special qualities in this role after the sevice.

Excellent service, Denisha is great of front of house, with excellent communications skills. Ian was so professional, and as we were celebrating one of the last WW2 Veterans, he ensured she had an appropriate send off. I am one of those fussy people who expect funeral staff to be well groomed head to toe, with neck shaves and no hair touching their collar, and polished shoes. I could not have chosen a better firm. I would recommend using a family business anytime over a corporate firm. Thank you Denisha and Ian.
