In loving memory of Colin Kerswill who sadly passed away on 13th April 2022.

Colin was wonderful family man. Husband to Gill, father to Linda, Sandra and Richard. His greatest joy was being Grandpa to Tom, Olly, Josh, Oscar, Robyn, Liberty and Annaleise. He was also great-grandpa to Reuben. Colin was immensely proud of his grandchildren and their achievements.

As a child Colin was fascinated by steam trains. He spent 44 happy years working on the railway. He retired from the mainline in 2000 but continued working with his beloved steam engines. He retired from the footplate at the grand age of 80.

Colin was dedicated to the South Devon Railway, Clan Line and Steam Dreams. He was passionate about passing on his wealth of knowledge and experience to a new generation of enginemen.
