Tom will be missed. as a valuable friend and colleague but his legacy will live on in all those young people to whom he imparted life and leadership skills throughout his long and successful educational career and especially through his involvement with the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.

I only met Tom a few times but was a real inspiration to all and a key supporter of the DofE award. What a genuine and nice guy.

Tom believed in & helped me through sixth form which were the 2 most enjoyable years of my education. He was a fantastic mentor and I have very fond memories of our Duke of Edinburgh expeditions together & meetings throughout the sixth form. I owe a lot to him and he will be sorely missed.

Did you receive our previous message which seems to have disappeared. It was to Alison and Family saying how sad we were that Tom has passed away and that we were so glad to have known such a really outstanding person with love from Eric and Viv
