In loving memory of Douglas James Tincello who sadly passed away on 13th April 2022.
After a long brave battle with Alzheimer’s “Dougie” devoted husband , father & grandfather , passed away peacefully with loving family beside him. Cared for at home until the very end by his loyal wife , Sylvia & only child, TIna.
Born in Theobald Square , Rochester , he was the youngest of 7 children. Starting his career as seaman in the Merchant Navy and spent his life loving & working on the river . He worked on the Thames and rose to the rank of Captain with British Petroleum. In his much later years he enjoyed working on the River Medway, piloting boats safely to shore , enjoying the camaraderie of the waterways.
He is greatly missed, as a amazing Dad & doting Grandad .
Fondly known to those who knew him as a very lively character, always taking time & enjoying a laugh & a chat.
Greatly missed and never forgotten
