Remembering dear Uncle John,

John loved nothing more than being with you all and that was so evident at your countless family gatherings, Sunday lunches or just simply enjoying the quiet times too with his beloved Aunty Babs. May all the wonderful memories that you have shared together bring you some comfort.

Sending our love and sympathies to Aunty Babs, James, Simon and Paul and family. xxx

John was a good, kind and generous family man. He was a real people person and will leave us with a host of fond memories. Barbara and John were always very generous hosts and memories of parties and social gatherings at their house will live long in our memories. One of Marilyn's earliest memories of John are school days and visits to Pop's Shop for a "cob and oxo" at a cost one old penny and one old half-penny - happy days.
Our prayer's and thought's at this sad time are with Barbara and all the family.

It is with sadness I write this, John you and my father were thick as thieves back in the day, Our families have grown up together, your Son's are like my brother's, there wives like sisters and to your darling Wife Babs like an Auntie to as all growing up. I know in my heart of hearts how you will be missed by all whose minds and hearts you have touched over the many years you were alive, and in death our hearts bleed for you in Sadness but as I learned with my own mother in solace for you're now out of pain and the battle is over.

My love to all the Clan for you may be less but you are still strong ❤️

ECJ / MRJ x

John, you’ve been like a second dad to me for almost 25 years. I’ll miss you so much and I’m so grateful for everything you’ve done for me, James and the kids. It’s been heartbreaking for Noah (baby Noah, as you always called him, even at age 18!) and Tilly but we’ve been sharing so many funny stories about you and it’s really helped us to smile, remember the good times we shared and be so thankful we had you in our lives. I imagine you reunited with your great mate, my Grampy Doug, laughing and joking about the good old days. Rest in peace John/Gramps, you will never be forgotten and will be loved always x
