Philip Snowden (20 Mar 1946 - 24 Mar 2022)

I had the pleasure of shooting with Phil in the late 1980's while posted in the Uk. A fine shot, enjoyable and one heck of a guy. Also met he and some of his fellow shooters from England at the World Skeet Championships in the USA. That was a most enjoyable time as all could lie, joke and just have a good time. He will be missed by all who knew him. RIP Philip

There will be a pint up there waiting for you - Dad will have got them in!

One of life’s true characters larger than most in stature but matched by his personality , did not suffer fools gladly but if you were in the circle if trust he would move mountains for you many memories many good times honoured to have known him and be a part of the extended Snowden family many of us they are god bless although I think you
May create havoc where ever you are now
