In loving memory of Josie Graham who sadly passed away on 25th March 2022

Our greatest sympathies at this very sad time. We greatly admired Josie during our time in Rotary and Inner Wheel. The only comfort now be that she can rest in peace.
Our thoughts and sincere wishes.
I have kept the photos that you sent me on my desk and there is a lovely one of Josie and I on a rental scooter. She has, as so often, a huge smile on her face. Somewhere else I have one of us in Cancun when I seem to recall the Tequila sampling might have got a little out of hand!!

It is good to have these happy memories at this very sad time.
Thoughts are with you at this sad time.
We share in your sadness, but remembering the many happy times sent together with Josie.
Our love to you all.
You and Josie have had a tough time of it for a while so it was good to hear that she passed peacefully. And that Simon made it home in time.
You and Josie have been (very happily) joined at the hip for a lifetime so it will be a big adjustment for you.
Wishing you, your sons and grandchildren my condolences,
Kindest regards.
Roger I am so sorry to hear this news, Josie was such a lovely person and we always think of her with great affection - just remembering now her smile and laugh.

Thoughts very much with you, Dom and Simon today.
Josie was such a big part of our lives over the last near 50 years since first meeting you both in October 1972 when I first joined Long Eaton Round Table.
Josie was the life and soul of many nights and leaves us with a wealth of happy memories from these years.

Our deepest best wishes.
We were so sorry to hear of Josie’s passing.
She was always so kind and welcoming and we think of her whenever the roses flower in the back garden.
With our love.
We were so very sad to hear of Josie’s passing but shall always remember the good times and her lovely smile. With love.
We were so sorry to hear that Josie had passed away, she is now at peace.
The world has lost a lovely lady and I can't imagine how distraught you must feel. Only time will allow the sadness to subside and the many happy memories you all share will become more prominent.
She was a wonderful lady and enjoyed her wonderful life, she will be missed by all who knew her.
I will always remember how kind and welcoming she was to me when I became a member of I.W.
We certainly had some laughs.
I know you and the family will have many happy memories to help you over the coming days and months.
Our prayers are with you all.
Thinking of you.
We were both so sorry to hear of Josie’s passing. Josie was such a lovely kind lady and nothing was too much of a problem. The Pavlovas she made were really excellent.
We know Josie made a huge contribution to Ladies Circle when she was both Area 20 Chairman and Chairman of Long Eaton L.C. Josie was the Founder President of the IW Club of Church Wilne. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
We are sorry to hear your sad news.
You and the family are very much in our thoughts.
We will always remember the great times we had in Josie’s company. She was a true and loyal friend and we will miss her humour and sense of fun.
We hope that it is some comfort for you to know that her passing was peaceful and you and Simon were able to be with her.
Thinking of you with our very best wishes.
Josie was a special person and we have many wonderful memories of very happy times that we all spent together.
You are in our thoughts.
Love
I have the happiest of memories of chats with Josie at your home, before & after many of our Rotary meetings as well as on numerous social occasions. We had a very soft spot for Josie who was the first to welcome her to inner wheel & always sought her out for a chat.
God bless Josie she was a lovely lady. With fond love.
My thoughts are with you from afar, as I remember your beautiful Josie - her energy and the fun she brought to everything, her wicked sense of humour, and her kind & caring heart.

My heart breaks for your loss. I know you are now surrounded by much love as family and friends gather round you to support you and remember Josie.

This morning I spent some time looking through the many wonderful, hilarious and gorgeous photos I have of Josie which I will share with you. I hope they bring a smile to your face and warm your heart at this difficult time.

Much love.
So sorry to hear that Josie has died. I have fond memories when she was Ladies Circle Area Chairman and since then at the Reunions.
Take comfort in family and that she will always be with you in your heart.
I was privileged to have had the two or three chances to share her with you, albeit for only a few days, and I thank you for that. To both Carol and me, she impressed as a very special lady and, for you and Simon, her passing must leave you rather empty.

I assure you we will be thinking of you over the next few weeks, with fond memories, and with our profound respects,
We were so sorry to hear that Josie had passed away. We have happy memories of her at BDO events and I am sure that you and the boys will miss her enormously.

They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard but always near
Still loved, still missed and very dear”
We hope that after this sad time, you will all treasure the happy memories of Josie.
With our condolences, sympathy & understanding.

Her warm smile and gentlenesses an absolute lady.
I can’t imagine how you are all feeling but you always did your very best for Josie and that was right to her last breath.
Not many people get that much love in their life and I know and saw your unconditional love and care at close hand. Your relationship together was beautiful
Thinking of you all.
Josie was a wonderful friend and support to me in Ladies Circle. I often remember our times together - even more so, recently. We shall make a point of remembering on the 13th. Perhaps I’ll wear a hat? But I SHALL laugh. We always laughed.
Remember with joy, Roger, as you both lived it.
With much Love.

Josie was a lovely, attractive and smart lady in every way. We have enjoyed knowing her for over 20 years and in particular the last year.
With love.
The Club is saddened to hear that Josie has passed away, but we are all happy that she was peaceful at the end.
As our Founder President, 35 years ago, Josie and her friends gave the Inner Wheel Club of Church Wilne a great start in life.
I have enjoyed coming to visit Josie & yourself. Prior to her illness Josie provided invaluable advice to many Presidents. Most of the Club saw Josie at Christmas when she ate heartily and enjoyed the evening in her own way. I am very glad that Josie came as it was the last time we saw her, and we have photographs for the archive. Please accept sincere condolences from us all.
So sorry to hear your news about Josie. While I didn’t know her well she was always kind when we met and I will remember her smile, warmth and welcome, with pleasure.
Our thoughts are with you, Dominic and Simon and although thoughts may bring you little comfort please know that we are thinking of you all and send our best wishes and admiration for the way you have coped in recent years, supporting Josie though her illness.
Our thoughts are so much with you
We have so many happy memories of the times we spent with you both

Sincerely and our love
Thinking of you amidst your grief and deep sorrow.
We send our deepest sympathy to you all for the “passing” of dear Josie, a truly lovely lady who we all so greatly admired and felt very privileged to know so well.
God bless Josie and you all.

I was so very sorry to hear from you that Josie had passed away. I know that she hadn’t been well for some time but it is still a shock to finally lose her. I have so many happy memories of time spent in her company and the calm and efficient way in which she dealt with all the fabulous parties and functions you both hosted. It will feel very sad not hearing those words ‘Roger and Josie’ anymore but as it says on the front of the card ‘precious memories live on’. My thoughts are with you and the family.
Love and best wishes.

Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of Josie.

It was a shock to hear how quickly Josie's health deteriorated in the short time since I had last saw you both before going away in December.

It was always a pleasure to see that friendly banter the pair of you had and Josie's endearing smile if she thought she had won.

We are so sorry to hear this news.
It’s been a very long struggle for Josie and for you.
We have always valued your long friendship (and humour) over the past 49 years.
There will always be a warm welcome in our home - anytime!!!
Keep strong - our love and best thoughts are with you and all members of your family.
We were very sorry to hear your news. Josie was a special lady who will be much missed not only by you, Simon and Dominic but by all her many friends. We enjoyed our time in Rotary and Inner Wheel under the leadership of you two.
More recently we were able to enjoy time with you in Tenerife and I was pleased to spend afternoons chatting to Josie about the past.
She had a mischievous sense of humour but also a wonderful ability to organise and get things done.
Sincere condolences.

We were so sorry to hear from you with the news of Josie’s passing last week after such a long spell with her health and dementia problems.
We have so many wonderful memories of our time with Round Table, and in particular when Richard followed you as Area Chairman. We spent time together both for the Orange Tour in 1979 – do you remember the Medieval Banquet and big Fred from California enjoying his elevation to King for the evening! He did go on to become President of WOCO too!
Josie then went on to become Area Chairman of Ladies Circle. These were the good days but neither organisation is so active anymore.
Our thoughts are with you all.
So sorry. Josie was such a lovely person.
Take care.

Josie was always so welcoming & engaging to us both on our many conferences and trips together. A strong, and quietly proud mother & wife, Josie was always so natural and contented.

She was a very special lady, full of goodness, warmth and courage, and so proud of her family. On our many trips together around the world, Josie was always so welcoming and homely, and good fun. When I think of Wimbledon and Tenerife, I will think of Josie and you.

We will treasure memories of our good times together and give thanks for all you did for her in her final difficult years.
We are blessed to have known you both.
