Still can't believe Bill has gone. The nicest man in the business I have dealt with.
And the best chats on holidays to have or had. Will miss that and him.
All my best to his family. xx

Dear Tracey, family and friends,
Still can’t believe it’s real, we will never see that smile, that cheeky grin he always had, only in our thoughts, always in our thoughts.
Like many others, we knew him from Thorogoods then Chandlers again, he was always the man to speak to, no one else would suffice, a true gentleman in every way, it was a privilege to have known Bill.
Forever in our thoughts.
Words do seem inadequate, but we are thinking of you, remembering Bill and celebrating his life.
Love to you all.
RIP Billy.

I worked with Bill at Chandlers. Always a gentleman loved and respected by the Chandler family and colleagues alike - who must be feeling such a great sense of loss right now. My thoughts are with your family. You loved a holiday and adventure. So I remember the words of JM Barrie “to die must be an awfully great adventure.” And one day Bill, you’ll be reunited with your loved ones and can continue to ride that great adventure together, forever. It was a pleasure knowing you.

Dear Tracey & Family

I'm so very very sorry to hear of Bills passing, came of such a shock as I'm sure it did for everyone that knew Bill. I will look back with great fondness to have known your husband for a long time.

I can't remember exactly when it was but many years ago my Dad (George Jiggins) said to me 'phone this number and speak to Bill, don't ask to speak to anyone else, Bill will make sure you get what you need son'! That was my introduction to Bill at Chandler Materials.

Dad had known Bill from his early years at Chandlers, he only spoke of praise for Bill, my Dad never praises anyone!

Bill had a reassuring aura which made you feel comfortable, he was always so helpful, so knowledgeable, would go above and beyond for you, was consistent and reliable, always calm, had an infectious laugh which would always take a bit a pressure off your day (and hopefully his), he also seemed to be on holiday a lot...good for you Bill!

You just don't meet many people like Bill in your life but I'm one of the lucky ones and I want to say you Tracey, your sons, all your family, close friends and work colleagues it was an honour and a privilege to have known Bill.

RIP my friend, you will always be remembered and not forgotten.

Andrew Jiggins
