Peacefully in hospital with his loved ones by his side on 10th March aged 71 years, John. The beloved husband of Joyce. A cherished dad of Cheryl, Edward, Kayleigh and father-in-law of Peter and Richard. A much loved grandad, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and dear friend to many. Friends please meet on Monday 28th March for a service in St Michael & All Angels Parish Church, Houghton-Le-Spring at 1.30pm. Committal to follow in Durham Crematorium at 2.30pm. All are welcome afterwards to Dubmire WMC for refreshments. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to a charity to be chosen by the family. A collection box will be provided at the church. All enquiries to Andrew Grey Funeral Directors, 9 North View Terrace, Chilton Moor. Tel: 0191 3857213. Forever in our hearts.
