At this sad time I would like to thank family and friends for all your support and messages. Dad was a true gentleman who appreciated all his carers for all they did for him. Special thanks have to go to Lucy who made it possible for dad to live independently in his little flat, always there by his side when ever he needed her ❤️. I miss having our daily video chats ... he would whittle if he couldn’t get me .... so he could still be my loving dad making sure I was ok .. bless his heart . I have lovely memories to cherish the most poignant one is his last hug comforting me and then a comfortingly hug also to Lucy from his hospital bed . My heart aches and misses you so much dad but I take comfort in the thought of you back with mum who you never stopped missing. Rest in peace in each other’s arms. X
