In loving memory of our amazing Father, Grand Father and Great Grand Father Eamonn Keating who peacefully passed away in his home with his family by his side, on Sunday 20th February 2022.

He was born on 13th September 1937 in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland. Although, spending his younger years in Feakle, he moved onto Scarriff for work. Like many Irish men and women he travelled abroad to look for work and landed in Northampton. Nottingham was his final move, where he found the love of his life, Delia Howard. After marrying 17th June 1967, their two daughters Michaela and Estelle soon followed. Later he welcomed his grandchildren Tom, Becka, Molly, Ellie, Maisie, Samuel, Jean Baptiste and his great grandchildren Ana and Lola.

A regular reader at the Franciscan church Our Lady and St Edwards; on various committees including Our Lady and St Edward's school, always offering his services to friends, family and anyone who needed help, although a passionate Celtic fan, he will be remembered by many for his love/hate relationship with Nottingham Forest.

Eamonn also had a passion for socializing. He and his family being regular members of the Greyfriars club. Both Eamonn and Delia helped organize Barbecues, held near the Greyfriars, which raised much needed funds for the parish.

Unfortunately, Delia passed away the 17th October 1996. He will be joining her in Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. Although, living in England for many years they both carried their love of Ireland in their hearts.

We are so grateful for having him in our lives and although we are heartbroken with his passing, his memory lives on.

There will be a mass to celebrate his life at Our Lady and St Edward Church, Nottingham on Monday 28th February at 5pm. The funeral mass will be held at St John's Catholic Church, Tralee, Co Kerry, Ireland on Thursday 3rd March at 12 noon. Family flowers in Ireland only. If you wish to make a donation in lieu flowers please go to clarecare.ie.

Very sad to hear of the passing of my very dear friend. Happy memories of our outings to Forest matches and a few jars afterwards. May he be happily reunited with his beloved wife Delia. May they both rest in peace.
