In loving memory of Roy Young who sadly passed away on 21st February 2022.

Roy was a wonderful, generous vibrant man who brought joy and laughter to everyone he met. His fabulous sense of fun made even the bumpiest of paths smoother for himself and his loved ones. Roy fulfilled his dreams of becoming a PGA golf professional, flying on Concorde and becoming a grandad. Despite many a battle with ill health, Roy was always optimistic, brave and thankful. His pleasures were simple and his needs few. Roy was an avid Spurs supporter, and was at his happiest by the sea, in the sunshine, with Sue and his family.

To the best father in law I’ve ever had!!!
I was thinking of you today as I was ironing Craig’s shirt for your funeral, you know how particular he is with his shirts!! So I took extra care so he does you proud. George has the perfect outfit for the day too to make you proud!! George says it’s like we’re going on a mini holiday as we’re staying in Norwich for 2 nights and is looking forward to the ‘party’ to celebrate Grandad’s life. Oh to be as innocent as a child. 💙👦🏼 It’s a strange feeling, looking forward to catching up with family and friends, but then remembering the reason why 😢
I look at your photos that are up and still can’t believe you are gone. All I can do is promise to keep on trying my best to look after your baby boy ❤️‍🩹

💖 Rest in peace 💖

Rest in Peace Del! My first boss, my coach, my mentor, you were so much more than just the aforementioned, we shared many laughs, many drinks and many good times. Thank you for everything you taught me, your encouragement and your advice, your compassion and most of all your time and patience.

You have left many memories and so many stories with us, thank you for that.

Thanks for being you Roy, you will be greatly missed xx

Thanks for being so special and kind to all of us. I'll never forget how much you loved my family, how much you admired my dad for taking care of my mum for so many years and how much you cared about my mum. You will always be in our hearts and we'll always remember your generosity and joy for life. Every time we get together to have a paella in El Portil, we will toast for you. You will always be part of our lives and my English dad. Love you Roy. Xxxx
