Barry was a warm, friendly and generous man. He never failed to ask about the family and was always interesting and engaging. We didn't meet up so much in recent years but we will miss him greatly and mourn his loss. Like the rest of the St Michael's gang I will ensure that we always raise a glass (or two) to our great pal Barry when we meet up and endlessly repeat the stories of our shared past. May he rest in peace.

A true character, Barry made a significant and considerable contribution to the electrotechnical industry. Barry was a real stalwart of our industry, being a most active ECA member over many years within both the London Region as well as the Major Contractors Group. Barry and I enjoyed an excellent working and friendly relationship with a good amount of banter.
Following retirement we kept in touch over the phone and I will miss our calls.
