In loving memory of David Pettifer who sadly passed away on 10th February 2022.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David; beloved husband to Rosemary, father to three beautiful sons Mark, Mathew and Tommy (Mark sadly passed in 2005), Pops to Austen, brother to Mel and so much more to so many. David passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer, which he bravely fought, on Thursday 10th February 2022.
David was a specialist in business strategy, who touched many people throughout his distinguished life and career. He was a deep thinker who read extensively into theology, philosophy and loved to share his wisdom along with experiences with those lucky enough to have known him.
David’s life moto was ‘God is good’ and ‘all you need is love’, words he lived his life by – he will be greatly missed!
As per David’s wishes a Requiem Mass will be held at 9.30am on the 18th of March, 2022 at English Martyrs Church, Dalton, HD5 9HS. With refreshments being held after at Sons of the North in Armitage Bridge (HD4 7NR) after. Please wear bright colours, not black tie.
