In loving memory of James Edward Ferguson who sadly passed away on 22nd January 2022.
Jim lived a full and wonderful life.
In working around the world Jim made many lifelong friends who he cherished. Jim was a great reader and raconteur and loved to tell his stories of which there were many. There was never a party or gathering far away.
Jim loved his family and would always return to see them after his travels. He was generous and kind always ready to lend a helping hand.
He was taken far too soon. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him as a brother, partner, uncle, cousin, godfather, friend.

Dearest James,
You leave behind such rich and plentiful memories both from Algeria and elsewhere since then that one can never pass a day without you being in our thoughts.
Thanks for being such a wonderful friend.

We met in Algeria 42 years ago, again in Cuernavaca in 2005/2006 and many times in London, in between and afterwards. Last time we celebrated his birthday, just three months ago. Life will never be the same without his guidance, comments and social impulses. We all miss him: Nataša, Emma, Roberto and Adrian del Corral.

  • Dear Jim (Fengins) I always had a good conversation with him when we met we were born just three months apart so could usually see things in the same light. When I got ill last year he phoned to see how I was doing and I really appreciated that. Well Fengins as I always called him Rest In Peace and hopefully one day we we meet up on the Other Side.

Dear James.
My condolences to Francisco and the rest of your family
I have been so blessed to have met you when I moved to Elsham Road almost 3 years ago. I already miss your welcoming nature, your cheekiness, our lovely chats by the door and the invites for a glass of ‘vino’ or two.
I blame COVID that we could not have our last neighbours Xmas drinks and laughs.
You will always hold a space in our hearts and we will take care of Francisco for you.
Until we meet again..
Francisca

You are a shining star and you were my Uncle, someone I was extremely proud of. You fought your battles, even at the end. That’s what Ferguson’s do. Now may you rest in peace. Goodnight, but not not Goodbye.
Loving you always and forever, your Niece xxxx
