Peacefully in hospital on January 22nd aged 87 years, Alec. The dearly loved husband of the late Rita. A much loved dad of Graeme. A loved brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. Friends please meet on Monday February 14th for a service in the Independent Methodist Church, Hetton-le-Hole at 1.00pm. Committal to follow in Durham Crematorium. All are welcome afterwards to the Blacksmiths Arms, Station Road, Low Pittington, DH6 1BJ for refreshments. Family welcome or donations in lieu kindly received for the work of Cancer research UK.
