On 16th January 2022, suddenly but peacefully, of Mirfield, aged 71 years, Doug, beloved partner of the late Susan White, much loved stepdad of Paul and Jo-Ann, dear father-in-law of Michala and Andrew and dearly loved grandad of David, Steven, Emily and Caitlin.
Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Tuesday 8th February 2022 at 11.50am.
Friends, please accept this intimation and meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of the Take Heart Appeal at L.G.I. Following the service family and friends will be made welcome at the Plough, Shillbank, Mirfield.

So sad to hear of your passing Doug. You was a fabulous man with a heart of gold, always time for a chat and a laugh. The horse rides and walks along the lane you lived won't be the same.
Hope you're reunited with Sue, and those much loved pets you've lost over the years waiting over the rainbow 🌈 bridge for you. Rest in peace. Love Nic xx
