I have lost my dearest brother and friend. He was always there for me. A loving, kind and caring brother. A very special person. I will miss our chats and his words of wisdom. My heart is aching at the sad loss of this very brave person who always looked at life with a positive outlook. Rest in peace my darling.

I was an only child and so I adopted my cousins (see photo). Rod was three months older than me so as an older"brother" I would turn to him for advice and help, which he always gave readily.We never went to the same schools but were in the Tooting SCC "TS Constant", where we had a great never to be forgotten time.We were both petrol heads and as he worked in the trade he was a mine of information and help.He will never be forgotten, who am I going to phone now on Sundays?

Uncle Rod was such a beautiful soul and even though he was introduced into my life for a short time, he made such an impact of kindness and care that will have an everlasting affect.
The light will shine a little less bright now you have left us.
