In loving memory of Valerie Holt who sadly passed away on 27th December 2021.

Valerie was a mother, a sister, a wife and a pillar of love for all those who had the privilege of knowing her and her passing will forever be felt in the space she has left in all our hearts. She dedicated her life to her children and her loved ones and did everything she could to make sure they were wrapped in the warmth of her admiration, understanding, love and support. Writing this as her daughter, I can say there was no greater comfort in the world than her hugs, her kisses and her cheeky sense of humour when you needed it the most.

To live so selflessly in the pursuit of other peoples happiness was her biggest strength and allowed her to bloom into a beautiful, funny, kind and wonderful woman with the love of her family around her at all times. That is the good life we aspire for and she had that; what a legacy to leave behind! To say you will be missed belittles how it feels now you are gone. We love you so much.

Please feel free to share your memories and experiences of Valerie with us here and celebrate the life she lived.

Val was like a second Mum to me. For the best part of my teens their family door was always open. Val was so sweet, considerate and also very tolerant. Let’s remember she had lovely twins to deal with. However, she raised the most beautiful, loving, welcoming family I’ve ever met. And I feel so lucky to have felt her love. She is a beautiful person and her beauty lives on in her four girls xxxx
