Mary passed away peacefully at Queen's Hospital on 6th December 2021, aged 85 years. Devoted wife to the late Joseph and a loving mum to Alistair and Christopher.

I was just thinking about Mary and searched her name online to find she had passed. Mrs Chamberlain was a good friend to my mum when they worked together, and she was my sponsor for my confirmation. I fondly remember a day she took me and my brother to Lichfield while our dad was ill and her being mortified by Jamie tearing through the cathedral opening all the doors. I think she's also part of the reason I still feel comfortable in pigtails in my 30s! Her kindness and warmth hasn't been forgotten 🩷
