We only met you once, after Carol had traced her Mum, Hazel. But you treated us like you had known us all your life. We're sorry we couldn't get to the service, but we watched on the web facility from Devon. Lovely service.

You taught both my children at school and nothing was too much trouble for you thank you so much for everything that you have done for the village of honley

Jean - You loved and nurtured me, taught me to read and write before I went to school and loved me like I was your own child. You suffered through your life but it NEVER made you bitter. You loved your job and the children you taught. You were an enormous part of my life supporting me after my own mother died. Nothing was too much for you and I feel your loss so much. You will always live in my heart. Love Hazel.

The world has just lost someone who didn't only believe in preaching Christian values but who practised them as well. Let her be an example to us all. I'm very proud of you and it's been an honour to have known you.
