This obituary is in loving memory of my dearest Mum, Grace Mitchell Shearer who sadly passed away on 28th December 2021.
Grace lived a long happy life and really enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She was fiercely independent, resilient and showed a remarkable strength of character right to the end of her life.
She has left a huge void in our lives, which will never be replaced.
We will hold on tight to all of the lovely, fun memories we have of her forever.
She truly was 'Amazing Grace'.
Thank you to St Luke’s palliative care team for the help and support given to my Mum Grace, in the last year of her life.
My Mum and I really appreciated everything you did for her.

I have many happy memories of Auntie Grace and the family when they would come up to Braeface for weekends when I was growing up.
When I was in the Royal Navy I used to go to Ardrossan for the odd weekend and she always made me feel very welcome.
She had two really enjoyable holidays here in Canada with Mum & Dad and as I say lots of happy times were had by all!!
May she Rest In Peace.
