Trevor was a devoted husband to Pam of over 58 years, a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Beyond this his other loves in life were the Salvation Army, Music, Trains, Derby County Football Club and Speedway.

He would help anybody he could and always accepted people at their face value.

If he was about, you knew that a joke or a prank was not far away!

He battled cancer over 21 years ago and won - he always said this was his greatest achievement in life because he got to see his grandchildren grow up.

Sadly in early 2021 he found out the cancer had come back and this time he would not be as fortunate. However, he would not accept that it had won because he had no regrets and he was dealing with it on his terms.

So please smile rather than cry when you think of Trevor because he would want you to remember a joke he told or a prank he played.

Rest in Peace you wonderful, wonderful man. x

I first met Trevor and Pam nearly 30 years ago, after becoming good friends with Mark. Right from the start I was always warmly welcomed whenever I visited and it was very apparent what a strong, loving relationship they had.
Trevor always had good advice when needed - he was invaluable when I needed some honest opinions on a shocking job a flooring company had done for us and what I should be telling them! - and was always candid and sincere: a rare quality these days and one which I had a great deal of respect for.
He was always one to put others before himself, but never someone who boasted about his actions or sought praise, and he had one of the most positive outlooks on life of anyone I have met.
I have no doubt that if there is a better place beyond this world, Trevor will be there and enjoying a well-earned rest after living a life we can all aspire to.

In memory of Trevor ..who our family have known the majority of our lives. We used to go to his house on a Sunday evening to watch TV whilst his mum .. Aunty Doll .. and our Mum Maud were at the SA meeting. He used to play tricks on us then! What a super man and follower of Christ. Our love to Pam and
family .. From Brian Roy Christine and Margaret Wilson .. Rugby

Trevor was such a lovely man who gave me so much fun in my early days playing tenor horn and cornet in the Junior Band, Rugby Salvation Army. Football crazy I can always remember band practice and rushing through 'Waves of Peace' so we could play f/ball
