Trevor was a devoted husband to Pam of over 58 years, a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Beyond this his other loves in life were the Salvation Army, Music, Trains, Derby County Football Club and Speedway.
He would help anybody he could and always accepted people at their face value.
If he was about, you knew that a joke or a prank was not far away!
He battled cancer over 21 years ago and won - he always said this was his greatest achievement in life because he got to see his grandchildren grow up.
Sadly in early 2021 he found out the cancer had come back and this time he would not be as fortunate. However, he would not accept that it had won because he had no regrets and he was dealing with it on his terms.
So please smile rather than cry when you think of Trevor because he would want you to remember a joke he told or a prank he played.
Rest in Peace you wonderful, wonderful man. x

Trevor was such a lovely man who gave me so much fun in my early days playing tenor horn and cornet in the Junior Band, Rugby Salvation Army. Football crazy I can always remember band practice and rushing through 'Waves of Peace' so we could play f/ball
