Ian passed away peacefully on the Nightingale Macmillan Unit at the Royal Derby Hospital on 24th November 2021, aged 50 years. Devoted husband to Emily, adored father of Keela and Matt, loving son to Noel and the late Margaret, much loved brother to Di and Jane, uncle and special friend to many.

Emily, I didn't know Ian, however, from our conversations he seemed like an amazing and exceptionally courageous man who fought so hard to stay with his family.
