Ray Webster passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long illness on 20th November 2021 at home. He had an extensive engineering career starting at Stanton Ironworks and then with Courtaulds and Boots, and was dedicated to his community doing charity work with Lions International and later with Treetops Hospice. Above all he was a loving husband to Joan, father to Richard and David and grandfather to Natalie, Hannah, Xavier and Elise. Ray will be much missed by his family and friends but we are grateful for the part he played in all our lives and for the happy memories.
