Suddenly, in hospital, with loved ones at her side, on November 4th aged 71 years, Linda. The beloved wife for 51 years of John. The much-loved mam of Susan, Sarah-Jane and mother-in-law of Kev and Darren. The cherished grandma of Coral, Christina, John, Cole and Belle. A dearly loved sister, sister-in-law, auntie and friend of many. Please meet on Friday November 26th for Requiem Mass in St Michael R.C. Church, Houghton-le-Spring at 11:00am, a private interment will follow. All are welcome afterwards to Houghton Rugby Club for refreshments. At request of the family, please wear something bright. No flowers, donations in lieu will be kindly accepted for the work of the ICCU, Sunderland Royal Hospital. A donation box will be available in the church. Unbelievably sad still can’t believe I won’t see Aunty Linda again when I come home to the north east. Taken to soon amazing lady, wife, mum, grandma and best friend to my mum. You were always a rock of support to my mum which I will be forever thankful for in particularly through lock down when I was so far away. Always in our hearts rest in peace Love Alison xx
