I first met Bob (as I always knew him) in 1966 on joining the "CAV Mafia" in the Phillips building. Bob was the cleverest and funniest man, may he rest in peace

I had known Rob for nearly 60 years after we both joined CAV in Acton on the same day in 1963. We became good colleagues, friends and flatmates for many years. Although our paths took different directions we managed to keep in occasional contact with each other over the years. I will remember the good times we had together. He was kind,+ with a great sense of humour and was good company.

Although I have not had any contact with Bob for a number of years, I am sorry to see him go. We go back a long way, right back to the sixties, when we worked in the Phillips Building at Acton.
