In loving memory of Donald Brailsford who sadly passed away on Sunday 24th October 2021, aged 86 years, after a battle with cancer.
Don was happily married to Jean for more than 56 years and together they had 5 children (Mark, Ian, Roy, Neil and Donna). As well as being a loving husband and father, he was also a loving father in law, grandfather and great grandfather.
He left school at 15 to become an apprentice joiner and was then called to served his country by completing National Service 1956-1958 for the Royal Signals in Germany. After this he became a successful joiner manufacturer running his own business.
Jean and his family request for family flowers only and would appreciate donations being made to the nominated charities Treetop Hospice and Marie Curie, who helped Don and his family out in the last few months of his life.
He will be hugely missed by all and has left a gap in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
