In loving memory of Jared James Smith who sadly passed away on 23rd October 2021.
On 23rd September 2014, Jared James Smith arrived into the world to complete our family. He was a cheeky, fun loving, stubborn little boy. He made many friends at baby groups and then when he went on to Pre-school. His love for Power Rangers, ninja’s and superhero’s was shown in his play with his best friends. During the time he managed to have at school he had a wonderful time with all his class mates making very special memories.
Jared was diagnosed with cancer in June 2019 and endured two and half years of treatment. He fought like a real life superhero and taught us never to give up.
Although our hearts are broken and we miss him so very much, we know he is now out of pain and free of cancer, free to be the crazy, cheeky, playful little boy he is.
We say goodbye to him on 15th November at Vinters Park, but we feel a more appropriate celebration of life for his young friends will be a huge party, to be held on 20th November. Details to follow.

Dear Sonya, Andy & Sasha, I was so very sorry to hear the news of your beautiful boy. I only met Jared once in person, last year at East Malling Park for Freddie’s birthday, but I remember him playing so well with Samuel, Lucas & Freddie, climbing the trees and running around the play park. I also remember you Sonya with Jared at Mini Mayhem when I first bought Samuel along. Happy memories of songs and dancing with Clare. Little Jared I was setting up a page for my late father who passed away 8 days after you and saw your lovely little face, I asked my father to make sure he looks after you he joined you in heaven 5 days after you went to heaven you have been on my mind ever since little man - may you rest in eternal peace
