On 15th October 2021, aged 27 years, Matthew, dear and loving son of Eric and Michelle, beloved youngest brother of Claire, Alistair, Aaron, Craig, Brooke, Kristian and the late Lydia, very dear brother in law of Richard, Victoria and Nina, a loved uncle, nephew, grandson and cousin. Matty, a friend to so many, he will be much missed by all who knew him.
Funeral service will be held at St Mary’s Church, Mirfield, on Friday 5th November at 2pm followed by a private family committal.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu may be sent to George Brooke Ltd., made online, or left in church on the day of the service. Donations in his memory will be for the benefit of Children's Bereavement Charity via Kirkwood Hospice.

I remember your cheeky little face well when you were at Hopton Primary School. I also remember you coming back and playing with your band at our Summer Fayre. So sad that you are no longer with us. May you rest in peace Matthew. ❤️❤️

You won’t remember me but me and your oldest sister used to sit at the breakfast table with stinking hangovers or be hanging out at your house when you were tiny. Brooke used to call you “Matty you” that’s how long ago it was. But I remember and it’s nearly 30 years. God love you x
