It is with heavy hearts we announce that our mum, Grace, died peacefully on 2 October 2021, just before her 95th birthday. Treasured wife of the late Bill, loving mum to Vicky and Val, dearest mother-in-law to the late Michael and Robin, cherished grandma to Jamie and Dominic, special lady to Danielle and great-granddaughter, Everly. Much-loved daughter of the late Tom and Aggie, loved sister, auntie, great-auntie, special and respected friend to her wide social circle and many work colleagues and a much-loved resident of Springbank Care Home. Scottish to the last and never losing her native accent, she made Yorkshire her home for over 71 years with her beloved Billy and is now reunited with him.

Our heartfelt condolences to Vicki, Valerie and family.
We remember with great fondness many occasions from 1985 onwards ( when we moved next door) spent in Grace and Bill's company - at Christmas, New Year and summer barbecues in the garden to mention but a few.
We will always be grateful to them both for their help, kindness and sound advice over the years. They were great company! Bill was a dedicated gardener following Grace's instructions to the letter. Their garden was absolutely beautiful and could have been open to the public.
Rest in peace Grace, reunited with your Bill.

Moira and I are sorry to hear of passing of your mum Grace,we have some great memories of her and your dad Billy with with nights in the Horse and Groom and the club next door (had a few drams with your Grandad in there).used to see your mum at Owlcotes shopping and would ask where’s Billy and would say oh he’s sat in the car listening to the football results.Sorry we can’t make the funeral but send our condolences.
