In loving memory of Terry Holloway who sadly passed away on 3rd October 2021

Despite Terry's tough painful experience from losing his mum at 18 years old, he went on to achieve outstanding exam results at University and an excellent career, with his final job accomplished by restudying in later life to become a financial advisor which he excelled at.
His caring laidback nature in life rubbed off on all who knew him. He even remained friends with Ex- girlfriends with no animosity .
In his younger years he had no interest in having children, until he met Sally and her two boys Alexander and Dominic who became his whole world and made him so very content and happy.
He didn't have to use words to express his love and care for you it just naturally oozed from him, his smile, eyes and hug said it all.
A beautiful person inside and out taken far too soon from us. xxxx

I shared a house with Terry in our final year at university. Although we lost touch after leaving he left an impression on all who knew him and it was a shock to find he’d passed away. He was such a warm, kind and fun loving person and his smile was instantly recognisable even after thirty five years.

  • Thank you so much for your lovely words Alasdair. He would often reminisce about his time at Bristol and talked of you 🙏 Sally

Terry will be missed so much by all his family, friends & colleagues. He was a kind, caring and thoughtful person, who I had the absolute privilege of working with, we did have lots of giggles over the workloads & lots of paperwork he generated, he certainly kept me busy! Sally, the boys, his Jags & cricket (which I still don't understand!) were his life. A friend I will miss x

Terry will be sadly missed. At work Terry was one of those people who would be willing to help and offer advice if you needed a hand. He was approachable and a thoroughly nice and kind guy.

Terry, it was a privilege to live next door to you and your darling Sally. Such a gentle, kind softly spoken man who loved his family and being on the water. You will be very missed by all who knew you. Julie and Anthony
